2022 Bales Creek Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

AVA: Spring Mountain District

Composition: 93% Cabernet Sauvignon Clone 4, 169, 337, 7% Merlot 

Tasting Notes: Inky dark color with dominant dark fruit aromas of blackberry, black currant, cassis, black licorice, cedar and allspice.  Broad and coating on the palate with rich black fruits mingled with beautifully integrated French oak tannins.  Bold and powerful, yet rich and balanced.

Pairing: Braised short ribs or grilled ribeye with rosemary and garlic are ideal companions for the 2022 Bales Creek Vineyard. The wine’s black fruit tannins stand up beautifully to rich, savory meats, while the spice and layered complexity of the mountain fruit echo the dish’s depth and charm.
